ways to work together

Support that validates parents, children and their relationship.

Together, we make sense of what’s feeling hard, strengthen your capacity as a parent, understand your child through an attachment lens, develop sustainable family rhythms, and reconnect with the bigger picture of the family life you want to create.

Whether you’re worried about your child, feeling overwhelmed as a parent, or wanting to parent with greater intention, our therapeutic work together is tailored to your family’s unique needs.

The bigger picture approach

concerns

Understand what’s happening

We begin by exploring what’s feeling difficult, what patterns are emerging, and what support you need most right now. We’ll get a clear picture of our starting point.

big picture

Develop guiding principles

Together, we clarify the values, goals, and family environment you want to create so we’ve got a clear and intentional direction. This forms your compass for parenting decisions.

parent

Support your wellbeing

We explore the factors that make parenting harder — like stress, triggers, past experiences, and nervous system overwhelm — while building skills for regulation, self-compassion, and responsive parenting.

child

Child’s inner world

We make sense of your child’s behaviour and emotional needs using an attachment lens, while strengthening connection and developing confidence in evidence-based parenting practices.

supports

Put it into action

We create realistic rhythms, routines, connection practices, and support systems that help these changes become sustainable in everyday family life. We create an environment that supports connection + wellbeing.

integration

Stay connected

Parenting unfolds in seasons, and new challenges naturally emerge. We focus on the mindsets and supports that help you respond in a values-led, flexible way during difficult periods. Check-in sessions are available for additional support.

Meeting you where you are

flexible framework

Adapting to your needs.

Some parents seek support primarily around their child’s emotions or behaviour, while others are navigating burnout, overwhelm, stress, or uncertainty about how put their parenting goals into action. Our work together is tailored to your unique needs while grounded in the same attachment-informed framework.

  • Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support emotional flexibility, values-led action, and coping with difficult thoughts and feelings
  • Psycho-education to help make sense of emotions, nervous system responses, child development and family patterns
  • Attachment-informed approaches to strengthen parent-child relationships and understand behaviour through a relational lens
  • Mindfulness and nervous system regulation strategies to support emotional regulation
  • Strengths-based approaches that build on existing capacities and support resilience within the family

Frequently Asked Questions

My website reflects my authentic self as best as I can – so hopefully you’ve got a good idea of my style! I also offer a free 15 minute consultation so we can discuss your needs and check we’re a good fit to work together. You can book via my contact page.

As a clinician, I’m friendly, compassionate, and validating. I’m probably not the right fit if you want to vent without action. Parents seek my help because they want change, and for us to work collaboratively, I find it’s necessary to have some direction and a shared set of goals. I’m also creative and love bringing that side of myself into my practice through resources and guides that are clear, aesthetically pleasing, and empowering.

Parent Support: Parent support sessions for child and/or parent wellbeing involve a deeper approach, where we’re exploring patterns, triggers, emotional reactions, behaviours and the relationship between a parent and child. I also support you whilst you implement changes, so you’ve got a safe space for sharing questions, frustrations, and breakthroughs. We create systems, supportive rhythms and routines, and consider long-term integration. Length varies based on the number and complexity of concerns. I can offer you my thoughts after our first session.

Focused Consultation: These are one-off guidance sessions. You can of course book another as a follow-up down the line, but these sessions aren’t intended for ongoing parent support or therapy. If you have multiple concerns, a more complex family history, or know you’d benefit from active support as you implement changes, then consider the more in-depth Parent Support Sessions above.

Circle of Security Program: Please see the options via the main page here.

This type of single-session support is best suited to straightforward problems or questions where you’re having difficulty figuring out where to start or what to do. It’s a more solutions-focused approach where we explore options, discuss a specific challenge or stage of development, and come up with a clear plan for next steps and simple-to-implement practical tools.

If you have multiple concerns, need support as you make changes, or want a more comprehensive plan for nurturing a strong connection throughout childhood, check out Parent Support sessions.

We begin by gently exploring what’s been going on for you and your child. You’ll have space to share your concerns, and together we’ll make sense of what’s happening beneath the surface. We’ll talk about what you’re hoping for, and what feels most important to focus on right now.

From there, we’ll shape a plan that feels realistic and supportive – offering practical strategies and meaningful steps you can start using right away. Throughout the process, I draw on my expertise in child development, attachment, and psychology to guide you. The goal is that you walk away feeling more clear, more confident, and supported in how you move forward. After your session, I’ll send out a summary of the plan, strategies and any resources we discussed.

Book a session using the buttons above or by clicking here. You’ll be sent further information and a link to access your online session prior to your appointment. There’s no need to download any software or set up a profile – simply click on the link and we will get started on guidance tailored to you and your family.
